The format is simple... Teams of video tweekers vs. surround sound designers collaborating in a 4.1 surround sound room with 210 degree video emersion -performance periods of aprox. 10 mins. each with 20 min. of mental digestion between performances (and cocktails) .......put it all in the pot, cook it up and see how it tastes.

IBU600 (Kosta Cross) began his classical training on piano at the age of three in Moscow. While studying music theory and conducting at the Music College of Ippolitov-Ivanov in his teens, he became fascinated by the works of contemporary classical composers like Schnittke and witnessed perfomances by pioneering electronic artists and composers including Leon Theremin and Karlheinz Stockhausen. The innovative composition and revolutionary performance techniques Kosta studied provide the foundation for his creative work over the last twenty-five years. The Soviet underground/avant-garde music scene provided a creative outlet for Kosta in the mid/late 80s; he was in several bands, including Nicolai Copernicus and Alliance, and was a participant and member of Moscow's famous Rock Laboratory. Kosta arrived in the US in the early 90s and spent most of the decade providing recording, producing, editing and mixing services as a freelance contractor in New York, San Diego, and Los Angeles. During this time, he also found a creative niche for his work in the burgeoning SoCal electronica/experimental scene. In 1998, Kosta moved to San Francisco and joined ProTools maker Digidesign. Once in SF, he continued his own work and began performing his own "crowd-pleasing" sets in the SF underground scene, and produced and provided post-production services to a wide variety of artists. He is a frequent collaborator with Larry Thrasher (Psychic TV, Thessalonians) and noise artist/mastering guru, Thomas Dimuzio. His most recent work includes mixing the forthcoming PTV3 (Psychic TV) album, providing arrangements for Ego Works Music in Miami, and creating and co-creating remixes, surround sound art installations and other mixed media projects.
